Intonation Music Festival June 24th
25th
Union Park, Chicago
Last year's Intonation Festival was curated by Vice Records, those New York media underlords who give us a magazine and a recording label, side by side on my piano, in perfect racial harmony.
It's being held in the now musical mecca of Chicago's Grant Park. They'll have two stages — one named Vice and one named Virtue. Between the two you'll get a completely diverse lineup. Of course Vice artists Bloc Party and the Streets will be headlining, but you can also check out great acts like the Boredoms, Robert Pollard, Jose Gonzales, Constantines, and more.
The Intonation Festival will n ot be holding a festival in 2007. There's no confirmation on whether there are any future plans, but nobody's said that they're going to fold up shop yet either. Check this news from the Chicago Sun Times.
