The Outside Lands Festival started in 2008 with over 60 musical acts and art installations in San Francisco at Golden Gate Park. Now it clocks in about 40–60,000 people a day across many stages: Lands End Stage, Twin Peaks Stage, Sutro Stage , Panhandle Stage, and Presido stage. The lineup has just been announced for Outside Lands 2012, which will take place during the dates of August 10 - 12 in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.
