The Boomslang Festival was created by WRFL, the University of Kentucky's college radio station in Lexington. It includes unconventional and uncommercial types of music like alternative, post-rock, psyche, electronic music, punk, hip hop, and metal. The expected dates for the 2014 Boomslang Festival are Sept. 19 - 21.
